Maxim Dmitriev (1858-1948) Nizhny Novgorod photographer of the 19-20 centuries, the founder of Russian photojournalism, a member of the Russian photographic society. He made his career in Nizhny Novgorod, which now houses a Museum honoring his life's work. Out of respect for him, the organizers have named the exhibition, Maxim Dmitriev exhibition.

Maxim Dmitriev International exhibition of Photography is with the patronage of the Federation Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP) 2021/551 and the recognition by the Photographic Society of America (PSA) 2021-1685, FPC W2021/P12 & Salon.Photo 2021-055. The Exhibition will be conducted in accordance with the rules of the PSA, FIAP & FPC. Acceptances obtained in this salon will be taken into account for FPC, Salon.Photo & FIAP Distinctions and PSA Star Rating listings in the worldwide PSA Who’s Who of Photography.
